Our biggest difference

Parents build the portrait they actually want—live.

Our ordering system lets parents view their child’s photo live, try the backgrounds they want, and position the portrait exactly how they like it before placing an order. No other school photography experience gives families this same level of visual control.

See what families experience

Affordable for families

Packages start at $20 and individual prints at $2.25, giving families useful choices at different budgets.

Smooth for schools and PTAs

We coordinate planning, schedules, student flow, picture day, and follow-up so staff and PTA volunteers are not left managing photography problems.

Simple for parents

Live visual ordering, clear choices, and responsive help make the experience easy from selecting a portrait through delivery.

If you ordered it, you get it. End of story.

Missing or incorrect orders are rare. If an issue does happen, our team moves quickly to track it down and make it right.

Natural portraits

Patient photographers help students feel comfortable and capture expressions families are proud to display.

Professional prints

Portraits are produced on professional-grade KODAK photo paper for rich color, crisp detail, and lasting quality.

More choice creates a stronger school fundraiser.

When parents can create a portrait they genuinely want to buy, more families are encouraged to participate. Better portraits, live customization, and easy ordering help turn picture day into a dependable fundraiser for your school.

Questions schools ask before booking.

Choose a question to compare service levels and see what your school can expect.

Safety comes first.
  • Our photographers are vetted and trained to work in school environments.
  • Every team follows the school’s visitor and check-in procedures.
  • All photography equipment is secured throughout setup and Picture Day.
  • Student walkways remain clear, with no dangling wires.
Do you serve the Bronx and all five New York City boroughs?

Yes. We serve schools throughout New York City—the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island—as well as Nassau County, Suffolk County, Westchester County, and New Jersey.

Which service level gives our school the lowest workload?

Level 3 — Complete Service. Your school provides a student roster with parent or guardian email addresses. We photograph every student, email each family their private gallery access, send reminders, and handle ordering support, missing orders, reprints, and delivery issues.

Is it safe to provide student names and parent emails?

Student names and parent emails are personally identifiable information (PII). We encrypt PII in transit and at rest, restrict access to authorized personnel, and use it only to provide the school’s photography program. We do not sell student PII or use it for unrelated advertising or marketing, and we securely delete it when it is no longer required. AMC Photo is a contracted NYC DOE vendor. Read our Privacy Policy.

What if we can provide student names, but not parent emails?

Level 2 — Full Student Photography. We photograph every student and create a private proof gallery for each student who did not preorder. We handle family support, while the school distributes each student’s private proof and ordering information.

What if our school cannot provide student names?

Level 1 — Limited Paper Order Service. Families order in advance with a paper envelope and pay by cash or check. Only students who bring a completed, fully paid envelope can be photographed, and late orders cannot be accepted.

Will every student be photographed?

Yes with Levels 2 and 3, including students who did not preorder. With Level 1, only students with a completed prepaid paper envelope are photographed.

Do you serve special education schools?

Yes. We serve many NYC District 75 schools. Every photography team includes at least one photographer trained to work with students with disabilities and special needs, helping provide a patient, respectful experience that can adapt to the school’s routines.

Do you provide caps, gowns, and formal attire? What colors are available?

Yes. We provide caps, gowns, and formal attire for graduation portraits, with every color available to match your school’s graduation colors.

How do you keep Picture Day on schedule and minimize classroom disruption?

We plan the class schedule and student flow with your school in advance, then bring the photographers and team members needed for your enrollment. Our crew sets up efficiently and works through the agreed schedule with school staff to keep classes moving.

What space and setup does the school need to provide?

Our Complete Wireless Mobile Photography Studio comes to you, featuring the latest in photographic technology, right at your school’s doorstep. We can work in an auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, classroom, or another approved space. During planning, we confirm the room, floor and elevator access, parking, electrical access, and schedule so we can arrive prepared, secure our equipment, and keep walkways clear.

What should our school prepare before Picture Day?

Your school chooses the program and date, shares grades and approximate enrollment, confirms the schedule and photography space, and selects ordering and picture options. Depending on the service level, the school also provides a student roster, parent emails, or distributes prepaid envelopes and private proof information.

Can you photograph staff, siblings, classes, and large groups?

Yes. Programs can include complimentary staff portraits, class or composite pictures, sibling portraits, montage photos, panoramic photographs, and large group photographs. We confirm the selected groups and schedule during planning.

What is the school’s upfront cost?

There is no upfront cost to book Levels 2 or 3. Level 1 has a $400 session minimum: family orders count toward it, and the school pays only the difference if orders total less than $400.

How do paper and online orders work, and when is free school delivery available?

Discounted online prepay. With Levels 2 and 3, families can order and prepay online before Picture Day at discounted school prepay prices. After the pictures are ready, online prepay customers can choose their photograph.

Ordering after Picture Day. Families who do not prepay still receive a private proof gallery and can order afterward at standard proofing prices.

Who chooses the photograph? For prepaid paper orders, our team chooses the photograph. For online orders, the parent chooses. Our team does not make that selection for them.

Free school delivery: three-day selection window. After the images are uploaded, parents receive a notification that their three-day selection window has opened. Parents who choose their photograph during that window receive free delivery with the school’s group order. This deadline allows us to send the full school order to production on time without holding up everyone else’s orders.

After the three-day window. The parent can still choose the photograph, and online proof galleries can remain available for up to five years. The order is sent to the family’s home instead, and home-delivery charges apply.

Level 3 communication. We email every family their private gallery link and password and send reminders directly.

Level 2 communication. The school distributes each student’s private proof and ordering information.

Delivery and support. Package delivery averages about two weeks. Our team handles missing orders, reprints, delivery issues, and other family questions through Customer Support.

What images and materials can the school receive?

Selected programs can include high-resolution yearbook images, school administration images, School ID and KidSafe ID cards, student stickers, staff portraits, class or composite pictures, montage photos, panoramic photographs, and large group photographs.

Can Picture Day help raise funds for our school or PTA?

Yes. More portrait choice and an easy family ordering experience can encourage stronger participation and help make Picture Day a dependable school fundraiser. We explain the program details before booking so the school or PTA knows what to expect.

How many photographers will you bring, and can you photograph 1,000 students in one day?

We bring the number of photographers and team members needed for your enrollment, schedule, and available space. With advance planning and school coordination, our team can photograph up to 2,000 students in a single day.

Do you provide free retakes?

Yes. Retakes are free for students who were absent and for portraits that need another try.
